137th recipient of help (livelihood bicycle- Gurgaon Chapter):

Pramod Kumar (25)

Security Guard (in our society – Orchid Petals, Gurgaon.)

Pramod Kumar has completed his BSc, but could not study any further studies to financial issues. In order to help out his family in financial crisis he came to Gurgaon, so that he could help them as well as save some money for his further studies.

He is working 8 AM – 8 PM as a security guard and walks approx. for 2 hrs a day to commute to work and home. He hardly gets any time to prepare for his exams to complete his further studies. I thought we cannot do much for him but at least we cab offer to help him save precious time he spends walking to work and back home. So we decided to buy a bicycle for him. Ride safe.

Rakesh Anand Bakshi and his donors’ (of Bicycle Angels ) , their work, is behind my motivation for helping this man and his family, and I hope to help many others like him as and when I am able.

I am happy we have added yet another member, donor, in the chain of donors who support Bicycle Angels’ efforts. Our donors name is Pradeep Mehra ji, and I met him via Pedalars , which is a cycling group founded by Mr Vishwas Sindhu Gurgaon. (We do recreational trail rides near Gurgaon. Pradeep ji came forward and offered his help to finance the bicycles we found two recipients for. Thanks a ton Pradeep Ji.
